Stingers’ Season Ends in Heartbreaker Against Harford, Finish Year 50–13 with Third Straight Region 10 Title

LEXINGTON, S.C. — Florence-Darlington Technical College's season came to a close Saturday afternoon with a hard-fought 13–12 loss to Harford Community College at Lexington County Baseball Stadium.
The Stingers battled throughout the high-scoring contest, nearly completing a late comeback behind a powerful offensive performance that produced 17 hits. Jake Little led the charge with four RBIs, highlighted by a grand slam that helped spark Florence-Darlington's rally. Pat Costin added three hits and two RBIs, while Gabe Herold contributed three hits, an RBI, and a stolen base. Jake Zehner also collected three hits as the Stingers continued to apply pressure offensively until the final out.
On the mound, Florence-Darlington utilized five pitchers in the contest. Elvin Pascual made the start, allowing four runs over three innings, while Dylan Shaffer delivered a strong relief appearance, pitching four innings and surrendering just one unearned run. Despite battling control issues that resulted in eight walks and three hit batters, the Stingers kept the game within reach and held Harford scoreless in the final inning to give the offense a chance late.
Florence-Darlington concludes the season with a 50–13 record, marking the program's fourth consecutive 50-win season. The Stingers also captured their third straight Region 10 Championship, continuing one of the most successful stretches in program history.
