LANCASTER, S.C. — Pat Costin recorded five hits and five RBIs to lead Florence-Darlington Technical College to a 14–6 victory over USC Lancaster.
Florence-Darlington Technical College secured a commanding 14–6 win over USC Lancaster, powered by a standout performance from Pat Costin. Costin went 5-for-6 at the plate, driving in five runs and scoring twice, including an impressive four doubles. Tristan Strickland also played a key role, scoring four runs while adding a home run and two RBIs. Jake Little contributed with two hits, including a double, and an RBI, while also scoring a run. As a team, the Stingers tallied 12 hits and drew 11 walks, consistently applying pressure on USC Lancaster's pitching staff. Florence-Darlington scored in four different innings, highlighted by a six-run ninth inning that helped seal the victory.
