Tech Stinger Heads to Coker College

Tech Stinger softball stand out Brittany Owens is going to continue her collegiate athletic career at Coker College and signed her National Letter of Intent Thursday, June 12, 2008 with her mother, sister and Stinger Head Coach Heber Watson looking on. Brittany was also a star player for Hannah-Pamplico High School.

The Stinger second baseman hit four homeruns during her career at Tech despite having to sit out a year due to injuries. Brittany will play second base and catch for the Cobras. Brittany will major in Criminal Justice at Coker and becomes the second Tech Stinger softball player to sign with a four year school.
