Stinger's Softball Coach Signs New Players
Florence-Darlington Tech Stingers softball Head Coach Heber Watson has been busy this Spring preparing for the team's second season. Watson says he has three players returning from the inaugural season, so he's "working hard to recruit some top notch girls." Brittany Anderson was a stand out player at Green Sea High School in Horry County where she played second base and pitched. Brittany wants to enter Tech's nursing program.
Erin Coppage is the first North Carolina resident recruited to play for the women Stingers. Erin attends North East Piedmont High School in Monroe and plans on entering Tech's Cosmetology program.
