Tech Stinger Men Sign More Players

The College’s new baseball team now has seven players signed for its first season of college baseball. Two weeks after signing its first two players, the Tech Stinger men’s baseball team has signed five more student athletes to the club.

Three players from South Johnston High School in Benson, North Carolina signed to play for the stinger last week. They are infielders’ Brad Johnson and C.J Johnson. Catcher Jeffrey Wommack also signed. Brian Campbell, an infielder/outfielder from Cheraw High School and infielder Gary Brockington from Carolina Academy were also signed to play for the Tech Stingers.

Brockington will join Carolina Academy teammate Seth Amos on the Stinger roster. Amos signed his Letter of Intent two weeks ago becoming the first player signed to the men’s program at Florence-Darlington Technical College.
