Tech Stinger Men go one for three in last regular season games

The Florence-Darlington Tech Stinger men played their last regular season games of their inaugural season this past weekend. The Stinger men are heading into post season tournament action with an overall record of 26-23. On Saturday, April 30, 2005, the Stingers lost a doubleheader to Spartanburg Methodist College. Tech had a better luck Sunday when split the second double header with Spartanburg. The Tech men won 8-5 in the first game but lost 5-0 in the nightcap.

Stinger Pitcher Curtis Johnson was credited with the win. Michael Tollison led Tech with three hits. Region X of the National Junior College Athletics Association Tournament action begins May 11, 2005 in Spartanburg.
